Medica, one of the biggest medical technology trade fairs in the world, welcomes numerous international exhibitors and experts from the healthcare sector every year. Over 5,200 exhibitors will be present at this year’s edition, including several innovative Luxembourg companies that are advancing the frontiers of medical care.

By careful bio-engineering we create products that can be stored twice as long as the industry standard.

Poly Diagnostics, a recent graduate of the startup acceleration programme Fit 4 Start, will be part of the Luxembourg delegation at the Medica trade fair in Düsseldorf from 13 to 16 November. Myroslav Gebura, the company’s founder, is optimistic about the possibility for strategic alliances that will advance the company’s objective to improve healthcare through innovative IVD solutions. Luxembourg has a national pavilion in hall 3, stand A74.

What does your company offer in the field of health technologies?

Imagine you or your pet got sick and you would like to know what kind of pathogens caused the illness. Would you prefer to be tested for a single virus or bacteria at the time or for all the suspected causative agents at once?

Now suppose you are a doctor who has to perform the clinical test – would you like to spend 5 hours of time per test or you would like to finish it in less than 1 hour? Or maybe you would like to avoid buying specialised equipment for the storage of your reagents, or you would like your reagents to have a two-fold longer shelf life than the industry standard?

Being a part of Luxembourg’s vibrant and international community has been a source of inspiration. It’s a place where innovation thrives.

At Poly Diagnostics, we address exactly these issues and develop a portfolio of ready-to-use in-vitro diagnostic products in the dry format for the detection of multiple human pathogens at once.

By careful bio-engineering we create products that can be stored twice as long as the industry standard, have simple and user-friendly product handling, extraction-free IVD tests, less consumables (filter tips, mixing plates etc.), no storage equipment required, and products can be stored and transported at room temperature.

What is the objective of your participation at MEDICA?

Poly Diagnostics, as a Luxembourg-based startup specialising in instant format dry RT-PCR kits, aims to leverage its presence at Medica to solidify its position in the In Vitro Diagnostic (IVD) industry. By engaging with global healthcare professionals and experts, the company seeks to form strategic partnerships, gain industry insights, and boost its brand recognition, ultimately advancing its mission to enhance healthcare with innovative IVD solutions.
