Making mobility smart and more environmentally friendly is a high priority in Luxembourg, not least since the country’s dynamic job market attracts around 200,000 cross-border workers who join residents on the roads every day. The innovative measure of making trains, buses and trams across the country free of charge is part of the new governmental programme adopted at the end of 2018, and the government recently announced that it will be put in place on 1 March 2020.

All with the intention of reducing road congestion, stress and negative environmental impact.
