Healthcare WeekHealthcare Week Luxembourg (HWL) is a European trade fair and conference aimed at fostering collaboration and advancing Luxembourg’s healthcare system. This year, over 3,000 participants, 100 exhibitors, and 100 speakers will gather at Luxexpo The Box in Luxembourg City.

Organised by the Federation of Luxembourg Hospitals, the event brings together hospital executives, HR directors, chief information officers (CIOs), industry leaders, researchers, startups and public institutions.

Exploring AI’s role in healthcare

This year’s edition of HWL will place a strong focus on the transformative potential of artificial intelligence (AI) in healthcare. With a unique European and cross-border perspective, the programme will address both the opportunities and challenges AI presents, offering practical, real-world solutions.

High-level speakers from across Europe will explore topics such as AI ethics and regulation, accelerated research through AI, startup-led innovation, AI-enhanced diagnostics and decision-making, and the role of AI in shaping future healthcare talent.

Showcasing innovative healthtech solutions

HWL offers also interesting opportunities to connect with companies developing innovative healthtech solutions, often including AI components. National innovation agency Luxinnovation will participate in HWL with a dedicated booth showcasing 12 pioneering Luxembourg-based companies:

The agency’s healthtech specialists will be on hand to guide visitors to the most relevant businesses and facilitate meaningful connections.

Visitors will also have the opportunity to explore the latest edition of the agency’s mapping of Luxembourg’s healthtech ecosystem, developed in collaboration with the Ministry of the Economy. This resource offers insights into the size, growth and areas of expertise of companies shaping the national landscape.
