MuseumSmileThe focus of the museums located along the MuseumSmile – Villa Vauban, Casino Luxembourg, Letzebuerg City Museum, the National Museum for Art and History, Natur Musée, Musée Drai Eechelen and the modern arts museum MUDAM – spans from history and natural history to classic and contemporary art.

Displaying the history of the Luxembourg fortifications, the Dräi Eechelen Museum is itself located in Fort Thüringen, a fortified castle built in the early 18th century. The permanent exhibition entitled “Fortress, History, Identity” includes over 600 objects and original documents. The museum also regularly holds special contemporary exhibitions.
